About the Role
Operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, side dumps, flatbeds or water trucks.
Transport materials including gravel, asphalt, dirt, equipment, and tools to job sites. Load and unload materials or assist crews with proper placement and securement. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment. Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight limits and safety regulations. Navigate job sites safely, including rough terrain and tight spaces. Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies. Communicate with supervisors, and crew members regarding deliveries and site conditions. Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A Preferred).
Clean driving record.
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening as well as random drug testing.
Knowledge of safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Strong awareness of surroundings and safety risks.
