Dave and Lana Waters, owners and operators of D & L Construction in Cortez, CO, started the concrete and asphalt crushing and recycling division of the company as a cost-effective way to dispose of the asphalt and concrete waste their projects generated annually.  It was also an opportunity to reduce the impact construction and demolition waste has on the environment.

 

D & L now recycles 100% of the asphalt and concrete it removes from work sites and has the capacity to accept material from other asphalt and concrete contractors in rural Southwest Colorado and the greater Four Corners area.

We only accept clean materials for recycling with the exception of steel, rebar, etc.  Our crusher has a magnet that removes metal from products. All materials must be free of all organic materials.

In addition to asphalt and concrete, our company can crush rock, cement blocks and other concrete products.
